All individuals and groups are invited to the 13th annual Tri-County Aurora/Ward 9 Clean-up the Streets Day, starting at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 3 at the Eola Tennis Academy, 239 S. Eola Road (behind Dunkin Donuts).
Sign in and breakfast will start at 8:30 a.m.. The cleanup, alongside the scavenger hunt, will start at 9 a.m.. Lunch will be at 11:30 a.m., followed by prizes, games, and announcement of the Ward 9 Scholarship nominees.
The clean-up of Eola Road and the business corridor is to beautify the community as we all prepare for summer. The City of Aurora government and Aldermen’s Office will supply all the bags and hazard vests.
The Aurora Noon Lions Club will be on site to provide free vision testing for all youth under 16 years of age.
