Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist, 5 W. Washington Street in Oswego, celebrated the season with an annual display of 50 nativity sets from around the world Friday, Dec. 6.
Held during a chili and pie supper fundraiser by United Women in faith, the 20th annual display was held in the church sanctuary during the Oswego Christmas Walk.
Good Shepherd congregant and longtime nativity display coordinator Pam Dodson said sets were placed on boards placed across pews with lights and labels. Foreign sets came from Germany and the Philippines.
According to Dodson, Good Shepherd congregants loaned the sets which range in age from recent to 80 years old. Live music was provided by Good Shepherd’s praise choir and Fox River Music Academy members.
