The 50th Little Ten Conference volleyball tournament took place at Newark High School.
Results are:
Championship: Newark defeat Hinckley-Big Rock, 25-16, 25-15
3rd place: Indian Creek defeated Hiawatha, 25-18, 25-21
Consolation: Somonauk defeated IMSA, 25-10, 25-21
Newark’s championship is their eighth straight victory. Newark has won the tournament 27 times overall, including 24 of the last 28 tournaments.
Hinckley-Big Rock had not been in the championship match since 2011.
