The 71 Reasons and More Foundation, a nonprofit supporting youth mental health awareness, will hold a third annual bowling fundraiser Friday, July 25, at 6 p.m. at Parkside Lanes, 34W185 Montgomery Road in Aurora. The public is invited. Admission is a $40 donation. Included is bowling, shoe rental, basket raffles, 50/50 raffle, silent auction and a live DJ.
Founded in 2022, the foundation was created in memory of Mark Chapas, Jr., a suicide victim. The group’s mission is spotlight suicide awareness, support mental health in schools and provide scholarships for qualified youth. The group’s vision is a community center to provide free mental health services, activities and resources in a safe zone for youth and young adults.
