Editors note: Here is a letter to Barb Nadeau about one of her columns:
Hello Ms Nadeau,
I thought you might find it interesting to hear from someone who read your recent column, and lives in New York state. I recently visited my relatives in Chicagoland and picked up The Voice in Maple Park.
Thank you for your commitment to volunteerism and support of many worthy projects, and telling others through your column. Volunteers are so vital to community and to the goodness of the life we enjoy as Americans. I have worked as a school aide for nearly 40 years and have a heart for seniors, and, now, I am one, and still working.
Many thanks for the ways you have followed your heart.
Regards,
Lois Proietto
