Moving from Naperville to Aurora, Simplify Healthcare, a leading health care solutions company providing end-to-end solutions for health plans, opened its new 6,400 square feet national headquarters recently at 600 N. Commons Drive, Aurora.
“We are thrilled to open our new location in Aurora, as this is a significant milestone for us,” said Mohammed Vaid, CEO/chief architect. “We are a growing tech company and this is a growing tech city.”
As a significant new player in the region, mayor Richard Irvin met with the company’s executives and staff members to officially welcome Simplify Healthcare to the City of Lights during a grand opening celebration.
“Welcome home,” mayor Irvin exclaimed as began his remarks to the applause of the crowd! “Aurora is the City of Lights, and because of our focus on technology, we are also the City of Light Speed. You are now part of the Aurora business and tech community. We look forward to continued growth together.”
Coming off a record growth in 2019, the new office space doubles the office footprint and supports the company’s continued rapid expansion in 2020 and beyond.
“We recently have been recognized by Inc. 5000 and Deloitte Fast 500 magazines as one of the fastest growing companies in the country,” said COO Harry Jordan. “This year we are set to nearly quadruple revenue and expect to double again next year.”
Simplify Healthcare has 94 employees at its new Aurora location, which features a large office bank where most employees work in a collaborative environment, private meeting rooms, and adjacent to the training center.
Two other large tech companies recently moved from Naperville to Aurora. Support Companies LLC and its 100 employees moved into the former Aurora Public Library, 1. E. Benton. Last Summer, the $850 Million dollar NEOTech relocated its offices to downtown Aurora in the former Aurora National Bank, 105 E. Galena Boulevard.
This week’s grand opening of Simplify Healthcare marks the fourth ribbon-cutting ceremony in 2020 with four more planned this month.
