Mayor of Aurora, Richard C. Irvin, gives his State of the City address Tuesday, March 3 at Fox Valley Mall in Aurora. His 90-minute presentation emphasized the renewal, redevelopment, and revitalization of the City. He said there was a 5.3% decrease in robberies, 11.9% decrease in thefts, 27.3% decrease in burglaries, and a 7.6% decrease in shootings. He said there was a combined 2.5 Million square feet of new commercial development and redevelopment projects. He announced Snoop Dogg and Twista will perform at Aurora’s RiverEdge Park in July.
