The health and safety of the patrons and staff members of the Fox Valley Park District is of utmost importance. As we navigate challenging, evolving conditions, please know that we are using the most recent guidance from Federal, State, and County health agencies. We have decided to implement the following measures to promote social distancing, limit community spread of the virus, and prevent group gatherings in our facilities and programs.
The following is in effect from Saturday, March 14, through Sunday, April 5:
• Cancellation of all Fox Valley Park District programs and events;
• Cancellation of Creative Play and Nature Play Preschool programs;
• Cancellation of group fitness programs and child care at all three locations;
• Cancellation of group rentals, birthday parties, youth sports events, field permits;
• Closure of indoor aquatics at the Vaughan Athletic Center;
• Cancellation of open gym;
• Cancellation of Friendly Center activities and trips.
The following programs/facilities will remain open:
Fox Fitness facilities at Vaughan Athletic Center, Prisco Community Center and Eola Community Center for members only.
Vaughan Tennis Center for member open reservations and permanent court time only: Orchard Valley Golf Course, Red Oak Nature Center; Cole Administration Center; parks, trails and dog parks.
Our customer service staff members will begin refunding participants for canceled programs and events. It will be on a pro-rated basis where applicable. Please note: It may take 14 to 30 days to process refunds. We appreciate your patience. Refunds will not be processed in person at any FVPD site.
The Park District continues to monitor developments and will adjust as necessary.
