Medicare, cooking class, at Oswego Seniors

The Oswego Senior Center, 156 E. Washington Street, Oswego, will be host to many events for seniors. All events will take place at the Oswego Senior Center unless otherwise noted.
• The Oswego Senior Center offers congregate lunch to seniors Mondays, and Thursdays each week at noon, and Wednesdays between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.. Attendees may drop in at anytime but reservations are required by calling 630-554-5602 by 10 a.m. the business day prior. Suggested donation is $5.. The menu is as follows:
Thursday, April 19, stuffed flounder or grilled boneless pork chop (choose one), rice pilaf, green beans, whole wheat roll, lemon jello with fruit, pie;
• Supper Club Soiree, Friday, April 20, 5:30 p.m..
The Oswego Senior Center will have dinner and great live entertainment by jazz combo High Hat on the Side.
• Medicare Discussions, Durable Medical Equipment, Tuesday, April 24, 10:15 a.m..
At this month’s Medicare discussions we will talk about durable medical equipment, where to get it when you need it, and when Medicare will help pay for it. Please call 630-554-5602 to register. Need more help? Please make an appointment with a SHIP counselor.
• International Cooking Class, Friday, April 27, 10 a.m..
This month at the Oswego Senior Center we will tour Germany and the Netherlands for a hands-on international cooking class in the OSC kitchen! Classes are $5. per person paid in advance to reserve your spot. Space is limited to 10 individuals per program. All funds are non-refundable if participant cancels. Must have a minimum of four participants. Call 630-554-5602 for more information.
