VNA Health Care offers COVID-19 tests by appointment

VNA Health Care (VNA) offers expanded testing for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), and it started Monday. These services are available by appointment to those with COVID-19 symptoms. A VNA provider will assess individuals prior to testing. Individuals without insurance will be served on a sliding fee scale based upon income, with a total fee of $5 to $10 for the pre-test assessment. No one will be turned away for inability to pay. Please visit www.vnahealth for insurance plans accepted. COVID-19 specimens will be tested at no charge by the Illinois Department of Public Health laboratory. These expanded testing services are offered to the public, regardless of income, immigration, or insurance status. Bilingual staff members will be available to assist Spanish speakers and translation services will be available.

Services will be available by appointment only at the following VNA locations:

• 400 N. Highland Avenue, Aurora, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.;

• 350 S. Schmale Road #150, Carol Stream, Monday and Wednesday, 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.;

• 801 Villa Street, Elgin, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.;

• 160 N. Independence Boulevard, Romeoville, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. through 4 p.m..
