Activities planned for Oswego Honors Veterans, a 10-day series of events and observances on and around Memorial Day, has been postponed until 2021 to protect our veterans, volunteers, and the public, while the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

The series of events organized by the Fox Valley Veterans Breakfast Club and the Village of Oswego was originally scheduled for May 22-31. Along with several other ceremonies and concerts, its centerpiece was to be the Wall of Honor, a tribute to those fallen during Middle East conflicts.

“With something of this magnitude and this importance, we want to do it right,” said Village president Troy Parlier. So we’re going to postpone it for one year, build on what we started, and make it even better than we planned to honor our fallen heroes.”

More information about the rescheduled Oswego Honors Veterans observances will be announced when it becomes available.
