You were all set on doing something when your Mom said “No!”
Then all the gripes and moans and pleading didn’t do a thing.
You knew that you were right…besides, what did your Mother know?
An even bet, this dialogue has a familiar ring.
But what your Mother “knew”, most likely, was experience.
And when your safety was involved, she thought, ‘Why take a chance.’
This situation we’re now in requires the same—Good Sense!
This, then, should help you understand the government’s bold stance.
If you insist on “doing your own thing” despite the call,
You are, in fact, just playing what we call “Russian Roulette!”
But then, you see, you are compelled to walk amongst us all;
So hear your Moher’s voice again, and, of it, don’t forget!
