Scott Tipping and Ellie Kahn will have a livestream Monday, July 20 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. at www.facebook.com/TheVenueAurora.

Scott Tipping and Ellie Kahn met as working musicians on a theater run. Their individual musical lives kept them from collaborating much outside of a gig here or there. During the quarantine, the duo was asked to film a performance of the Robert Plant and Alison Krauss record, Raising Sand, for the popular Chicago program Great Moments in Vinyl. The quarantine gave time for both of these musicians to work together and create a sound of their own. This set will be an interesting mix of songs they dig and music that feels good being made together.
