To those who still are young, with an inquiring mind,
I hope that makes you into an inquiring find.
Don’t take what science tells you now as the last word;
Because, if you inquire at length, that is absurd.
Accepted geniuses are geniuses, that’s true!
Regardless, there is no eliminating you!
There is but one requirement to apply;
That is, just never hesitate in asking Why?
Why this? Why that? How come? Just anything at all.
You never can be sure just where the chips will fall!
One thing will then lead to another—no surprise!
The more you delve into most anything, the prize!
Now stop and think—there is no one thing mentioned here
You get to go wherever inquiry will cheer!
This may not lead to your vocation, but don’t sigh;
Whatever else, don’t ever stop in asking “Why?”
