The global COVID-19 pandemic has created previously unforeseen hardships on our physical, mental, and economic health.
It is with these economic hardships in mind that the Oswegoland Park foundation has made a $25,000 donation to the Oswegoland Park District to help with funds for the District’s Financial Assistance Program, which enables families who qualify to receive reduced fees for Park programs.
It is the Foundation’s sincerest hope that this $25,000 donation will allow many families to take part in programs they may not have otherwise during this time.
If your family, or a family you know, will not sign up for a Park District program simply because you can’t afford it, we encourage you to contact the District to inquire about fee assistance and to discover if you may qualify. Please contact Tom Betsinger, director of recreation, at 630-554-4460 or at tbetsinger@oswegolandpd.org for more information.
To donate to the Foundation so that we may continue our efforts, please do so by visiting our website at greeneroswegoland.org. We encourage anyone in need of other assistance to call on these organizations: The Kendall County Community Food Pantry, Kiwanis of Oswego, Community Cares, Oswegoland Optimist Club, 3:11 Project.
