‘Funny’ facts fill U.S. elections

Dear editor;

Those who think there’s no election fraud must be living with blinders on due to their political biases. Let’s look at some “funny” facts.

Dominion Voting Systems, widely used in this country, was founded in 2002 by two Canadians who currently own Dominion in partnership with Staple Street Capital, a New York-based private equity firm with questionable connections which invested in Dominion in 2018. Canada is a radically liberal country. Many Canadians would love to see Republicans defeated in the U.S. Why the heck are we using election software from a country biased against conservatism? Why the heck aren’t we using American software for American elections?

Smartmatic voting machines are widely used in the U.S. Smartmatic was founded by three Venezuelans in Caracas who still control the company, though their ownership is now less obvious because they are using various holding companies to control Smartmatic. Again, though, why the heck are we using Venezuelan software for American elections?

Election fraud is a fact. The only question is: How much is there? The corruption of the Democrat “Chicago Machine” is legendary. One of my relatives admitted years ago that his alderman would come around every election season and pay people to vote Democrat. My relative admitted he took the money and voted Democrat. In one Michigan county in this last election, 5,500 Trump votes were incorrectly given to Biden. (Fortunately that “error” was fixed.)

In my own precinct in this last election you didn’t even need an ID to vote. Nobody there was checking IDs. Ridiculous. How widespread is that? Years ago I knew a man who moved to Downers Grove from Chicago, and he said he was able to vote in Downers Grove and still vote in Chicago, which he said he did.

You can’t blame people for thinking there was fraud in this last election. Too much “funny” stuff happened. We need to end electronic, paperless voting. We need to check IDs. We need manual counting of paper ballots. We need to minimize mail-in voting, which is more susceptible to vote fraud. Our election system clearly needs improving.
