The vaccination site will open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, May 7. Residents can visit the www.kanevax.org site and click on the Kane-SpringHillMallVax (Carpentersville, IL) to register for an appointment.

“The addition of another KaneVax vaccination site, located in the Spring Hill Mall, will serve as the fourth regional vaccination site established by Kane County,” said County Board chairman Corinne Pierog. “The site will be a partnership with Jewel-Osco and serve the Carpentersville and West Dundee area of Northern Kane County. We are encouraging everyone 16 and older to sign up to be vaccinated. This new site, along with Kane County’s mass vaccination sites in Batavia, Aurora, and Elgin, makes obtaining vaccination accessible to everyone throughout the county.”

“To extend our reach further north in Kane County, we are pleased to add a vaccination site with yet again, important community collaboration,” said Kathy Fosser, interim executive director at the Kane County Health Department.

“I’m excited for the opening of this new site and the increased vaccine accessibility for the LatinX community in the Carpentersville/Dundee area,” said Jarett Sanchez, Chairman of the Kane County Public Health Committee. “All residents should feel at ease coming to our site, no matter what race, gender, or immigration status they might have. Our site is for the people.”

The new site, like all Kane County vaccine sites, will offer free COVID-19 vaccines to all eligible residents. All individuals above the age of 16 are eligible to receive the vaccine. For vaccinations administered at the new West Dundee location, registration is required, and residents can schedule their appointments by going to www.kanevax.org or by calling 855-4-KaneVax.
