Kane County vaccines at farmer’s markets

The Kane County Health Department (KCHD), Kane County Office of Emergency Management, and mobile Illinois National Guard will provide COVID vaccines this week at farmer’s markets in St. Charles and Sugar Grove.

• Friday, July 2 from 9 a.m. to Noon at the St. Charles Farmer’s Market, 309 Cedar Avenue, St. Charles.

No appointment is necessary. KCHD will have all of the COVID vaccines, Janssen, Moderna, and Pfizer, available for administration. Vaccinations are available for all persons 12 and older. Minors under the age of 18 must bring a signed Pfizer consent form by their parental guardian to receive the COVID vaccine.

• The Illinois Department of Public Health will provide a COVID vaccination clinic Saturday, July 3 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Sugar Grove Farmer’s Market, 10 S. Municipal Drive, Sugar Grove. Janssen vaccine will be available to persons 18 and older.
