The largest genocide didn’t happen in Nazi Germany, Stalin’s Russia, or Mao’s China. It occurs every day in the uteri of women in today’s world. We, in the U.S., destroy close to a million lives every year without a breath or a whimper. Out of sight, out of mind, works well for those who do not want the responsibility of a child, or the end of their lives. What we don’t see is easily ignored. Most of us go about our day not knowing anything of this holocaust.

There have been studies done on Midwest college campuses recently concerning the acceptance of post birth abortions. Infanticide is the way we used to describe this insanity. As predicted, Roe v. Wade has become more than just a slippery slope in the destruction of life.

An argument is being made on some college campuses in favor of post birth abortions. Four- and even five-year-olds are not perceived by some as self aware enough to have personhood. The argument goes further in making the claim a person who is not self-aware is not human. So why shouldn’t we be considering post birth abortions? Shockingly, in some circles, it has become a legitimate question?

Writer in The Voice every other week, Wayne Johnson, suggested recently that Texan pro-life groups, who have overturned abortion laws in Texas, have put abortion “right back where it belongs, in the back alleys and back rooms of sleazy taverns.” We are led to believe mothers have no other options, even as Wayne wrote of being a loving, adoptive, parent.

According to Wayne Johnson, if you care about the life of the unborn enough to save them from abortion, you are damning their mothers to be butchered. Mothers would die if you care about them and their children. I know of several families who have adopted unwanted children, and in that process, enriched not only their lives, but the lives of those children the biological mothers could not, or would not, keep. Wayne should understand!

Wayne scolds those advocating for life. He writes it’s not enough to just care. You have to be willing to pay for the irresponsibility of others first. And if you don’t pay, you shouldn’t care.

It is how he would like things to be. Wayne and other pro-choicers want death as an option for the unborn. The word choice implies as much. Mr. Johnson asks: “Wouldn’t it be nice if the right to life people cared as much about the children after they’re born?” They actually do Wayne! Look at the programs available for those mothers who choose life. But you haven’t researched that, I’m sure.

Mr. Johnson writes of the character of pro-lifers as follows: “They’re the same people who want to cut public aid and food stamps for a 17 year old mother trying to attend school, work, and raise the child that wasn’t aborted, the child who will grow up fatherless, and one day learn that his birth father is actually a family member, or some perverted cretin at the bottom of the food chain.”

Mr. Johnson shows his morbid insights and socialistic mindset in how he approaches the subject of abortion. He thinks himself to be clairvoyant, understanding the plight of every woman seeking an abortion. He intuitively understands why these unfortunate children must be chopped up then suctioned from their mothers womb. After all, who wouldn’t choose death over having a family member as a father.

It is Wayne who decides merciful, kind, and loving, death over the hell that he knows awaits these children if they live. Wayne is their savior, after all. No one could overcome the adversity he describes above. Death is the preferential option to these scenarios. Wayne knows what is best for us all. Just ask him. He knows the unborn would never choose life if they knew their father to be a perverted cretin. So Wayne chooses for them.

Pro-lifers think all children should have the choice for a chance at life, even when it’s hard!
