The Oswego Senior Center will be host to many events for seniors.

Annual Medicare Forum

The Free Annual Medicare Forum will be held 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 27 at the Oswego Fire Department Community Room, 3511 Woolley Road, Oswego. Annual Medicare Forum is a must attend for anyone new to Medicare and current beneficiaries for review. Our expert panel will present Supplement & Advantage Plans, 2022 Medicare Updates, Post Hospital Stay/Medicare, Veterans Benefits/Medicare, and Immunizations/Medicare. Medicare Forum is hosted by Oswego Senior Center and Senior Services Associates. The Forum will be presented Virtually through Zoom. Scam Awareness Seminar

Scam Awareness Seminar will be 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov/ 9 at Beecher Center, 908 Game Farm Rd., Yorkville. Seminar is presented by Senior Services Associates, Oswego Senior Center and Kendall County TRIAD. We invite all area seniors to learn ways from a panel of experts how to keep yourself, your loved ones and property safe from scams and fraud. AgeGuide will present Medicare Fraud Protection. Police officers will present information on current scams. Allied Bank will offer tips for avoiding Identity Theft. Scam Awareness Seminar will be presented virtually through Zoom. Advance Registration is required. Call Senior Services Associates at 630-553-5777 or Oswego Senior Center at 630-554-5602. In -person attendees are limited to 50 and will receive a free-boxed lunch. Box-Lunch provided only to in-person attendees. Seminar and Lunch sponsored by Heritage Woods of Yorkville, Heritage Woods of Plainfield and Bardwell Residences of Aurora.
