State representative Barbara Hernandez, D-Aurora, is inviting residents of her district to help shape her 2022 legislative agenda by sending in ideas for new laws to her district office.
“As we continue to navigate the pandemic, it’s crucial that our state government is stepping up to help build back our communities,” said Hernandez. “It is my main priority as a state representative that the members in our community can come to me with their thoughts and ideas for new laws that will directly impact their daily lives.”
Hernandez is encouraging constituents to share their legislative ideas for her to take under consideration when drafting new laws for the upcoming year. New bill ideas can be submitted to Hernandez’s office by calling 630-270-1848 or send to RepBarbaraHernandez@gmail.com, or by attending any of her free events and meetings held in the district.
“The work we do in Springfield begins with the ideas and concerns of our communities,” said Hernandez. “I’m committed to being an open and accessible representative for our community, and I look forward to hearing from constituents about their legislative ideas to address the issues facing our state.”
Hernandez is asking that bill ideas are sent to her district office by December 15. To keep up with her upcoming events and meetings, individuals can visit, www.facebook.com/RepHernandez83rd.
