Naperville Park District will offer two opportunities for families to visit with Santa, enjoy time together, and register their kids for fun camp programs over Winter break.
Registration is under way for Santa’s Naperville Workshop, presented by Woody Buick GMC, which will open November 28 and continue through Thursday, Dec. 22. One family at a time can enjoy a brief conversation with Santa inside the Riverwalk Café, which will be transformed into Santa’s Workshop. Reservations for this popular event are filling up quickly, and families are encouraged to register soon at www.napervilleparks.org/santasworkshop.
Another fun way to see Santa is to join the Park District at the Skating with Santa event Saturday, Dec. 3 at Rocket Ice Arena. Skate rental is included in the registration fee and children will enjoy skating to festive holiday music from noon to 1:20 p.m., photo opportunities with Santa and hot chocolate. Parents, grandparents, children and extended family are invited to Family Bingo Wednesday, Dec. 21 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center. This favorite holiday event includes 12 games of Bingo, a snack, beverage and prizes. Each participant must register. Early bird pricing is available through December 17 by registering for the event at www.napervilleparks.org.
During the last week of December and the first week of January 2023, Naperville Park District will offer a variety of Winter Break Camps for kids between the ages of 3 and 17. Registration for Winter Break Camps is at www.napervilleparks.org
