Roosevelt-Aurora American Legion Post 84 Band will perform at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at the Bloomhaven Campus (old Copley Hospital) parking lot, 301 Weston Avenue in Aurora.
The public is invited. Admission and parking are free. A limited number of chairs will be available.
The concert will mark National Korean War Armistice Day. More than 35,000 U.S military members died in the Korean War.
Aurora Post 84 is named after Quentin Roosevelt, youngest son of U.S. president Theodore Roosevelt, who was killed in World War l in aerial combat over France June 14, 1918.
With more than 350 members, Post 84 promotes the highest standards of community support and participation.
Post officers and staff members, under Post commander, Mike Eckburg, champion the American Legion’s mission and purpose to assist the community and fellow veterans.
