Led by manager Cody Wyeth, Kirhofer Sports recently won the championship of the Minor League Division of Aurora Boys Baseball. The team consisted of 12 players, all from the Aurora area, ages 8-10. In the first round of the tournament, the team defeated a tough Continental Envelope team, 18-14. In the quarterfinals the team took down Volkman Insurance, 18-8, and in the semifinal game, Kirhofer was successful over Dairy Queen, 16-6. In the double elimination tournament, Kirhofer Sports was victorious in the championship game over Dairy Queen again, 16-6. It was a great season for all of the players in Boys Baseball of Aurora.
