Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry in Aurora distributed free feminine-hygiene products Wednesday, July 26.
Diane Renner, Pantry executive director, said Wood Dale-based Zam Zam Foundation provided the products valued at $1,500.
Abdule Maten, foundation CEO, was among ZZF employees participating.
Founded in 2020, ZZF is a nonprofit producing hygiene products to sell at low cost.
Maten said, “Menstrual hygiene products are not cheap. While a necessity for most women, some can’t afford the products.”
Wilkinson Pantry, 834 Highland Avenue in Aurora, will be host to a second giveaway of ZZF products 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8.
