Vernon LaVia 1963-2023 The late man about town in Aurora, in many ways, and family man strictly, died Sunday, Sept. 17. Few details were available. According to the family information: “He was surrounded by loving family, friends, and the caring and compassionate medical staff at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. He was attended to by Father David and Father Tim of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Aurora.” He is survived by family members, his wife, Linda Chapa LaVia, and daughters, Jackie LaVia, and Veronica LaVia.
