Veggie Fest will return for its 14th annual festival from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. August 10 and 11, at Danada South Park, Navistar Circle, Lisle. Veggie Fest has been consistently recognized as one of the nation’s leading vegetarian/vegan food festivals. Plus, it offers so much more for the entire family!
This year, Veggie Fest will welcome some of the leading bands in the Chicagoland area, including:
- Award-winning reggae music of Gizzae
- Latin/Jazz/Salsa fusion of Afinca’O
- The soulful and fiery explosion of R&B from Rico
- Exciting blend of Bollywood, Folk and Reggae from Funakdesi
- The uplifting pop/folk music of the nationally touring singer/songwriter Zach
Veggie Fest offers a great opportunity for the kids to explore the vibrant arts and crafts tent, lively music, face painting, plays, and other activities. There will also be an adorable kid’s parade throughout the Veggie Fest grounds (Saturday, Aug. 10) as they adorn themselves with costumes of their favorite fruits and vegetables.
