Celebrating back-to-school season, youth and adults present backpacks, laptops and other gear for a blessing at Wesley United Methodist Church in Aurora Sunday, Aug. 11. Lead Pastor Tammy Scott performed the blessing during morning service. In an advance invitation, she said, “Please bring your backpacks, laptops, whatever you use to transport your things to and from school for a special blessing!” Approximately 20 congregants participated.
