Poem: A Worthy Consideration

Share this article:

What is it that you have that never fails?
I mean that—never, meaning it prevails.
You may not see it as a habit, true,
It is still something you will often do.
But when I say it never fails, I mean
It never fails to lighten hearts when seen.
If often seen, it will become your trait—
Which others soon will use to keep them straight.
As soon as you find what this trait will be,
You may well laugh, which means you then agree.
It is not dress, decorum, set, or style—
It is, in fact, quite simple….just a smile!
