SCARCE’s fourth repair fair will take place Saturday, Oct. 26 at 9 a.m. to noon, Education Center of SCARCE’s facility, 800 S. Rohlwing Road (Route 53), Addison. Experts will be on-site to perform simple repairs on household items for a small fee.
Repair experts can help with: Kitchen knife sharpening; scissor sharpening; jewelry repair/modifications (no watches or rings); crystal, glassware, and porcelain repair (items can be dropped off and picked up at a later date); lamp and light fixture repair; household appliances and electronics repair (no sewing machines, TV’s, computers, or no printers).
While waiting for repairs attendees can browse a used books & records resale shop with books, records, holiday items, crafting supplies, puzzles, and activities, for all ages.
