Daniel Ahern new Kiwanis Club of Aurora president

Daniel Ahern of Aurora was installed as president of the Kiwanis Club of Aurora during the club’s annual installation dinner September 25, at the Aurora Country Club. Additionally installed were president-elect, Lucas Albright; treasurer, Kim Woodin; and secretary, Kim Groom.

The following members will serve on the club’s board of directors: Kendra Coronado, Chris Wells, Nick Knudtson, and Debbie Smith.

The immediate past president is Christina Campos. She will continue to serve on the club board for the next year.

The Kiwanis Club of Aurora supports numerous community projects and is currently working on its annual “Coats for Kids” drive. The club raises money for its projects by their April Pancake Day and other fundraisers.

“Kids need Kiwanis, in our community and in communities around the world,” said Ahern. “Our club believes in children and wants to provide all kids with an opportunity to thrive, prosper and grow.”
