Loaves & Fishes Community Services is inviting the community to celebrate its 40th anniversary during an Open House from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at their Naperville Grocery Market, the Frank J. Rus & Donald S. Toy Food Market & Resource Center, 1871 High Grove Lane, Naperville.
The event will honor the incredible support from volunteers, donors, and community partners who have stood alongside Loaves & Fishes for four decades, working together to address food insecurity in our community. Guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments, view the historical display, and leave a note in the Loaves & Fishes time capsule to commemorate this milestone.
“We are incredibly appreciative of the partnerships, volunteers and donors who have walked with us for 40 years,” said Mike Havala, President & CEO of Loaves & Fishes. “Together, we have served the growing needs of our community and those facing food insecurity with dignity and compassion. You have helped us make a big impact on thousands of lives, and for that, we are forever grateful.”
Whether you volunteer, support financially, collect food, share our story, or want to learn more about our mission, you are welcome to join in this celebration of gratitude as we reflect on the past 40 years and look toward the future of providing essential resources to the people of DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and Will counties.
No RSVP is required. For more information, contact Nicole Louis, Associate Director Advancement at nlouis@loaves-fishes.org.
