The Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry proudly welcomes Annette Johnson as its new executive director. Known for her leadership in food distribution and community support, Johnson will build on the legacy of Diane Renner, who retired November 1, after more than a decade of service. Johnson is committed to continuing the organization’s impact across Aurora and surrounding communities.
With more than 20 years of experience in financial and operational management within the food manufacturing and marketing sectors, Johnson brings a wealth of experience that aligns with the Pantry’s mission. Known for her focus on sustainable business practices and community impact, she is uniquely equipped to advance Marie Wilkinson’s vision of meeting hunger needs while empowering individuals toward self-sustainability.
“We are honored to have Annette join our leadership,” said Theodia Gillespie, chairwoman of the Board of Directors. “Her background in food services and community partnerships will be a tremendous asset as we continue Marie Wilkinson’s mission. We know her forward-looking approach will help us adapt to the evolving needs of our community.”
