The Forest Preserve District of Kane County will be host to a winter series of engaging bird watching walks, where participants can enjoy the beauty of the changing seasons while discovering the diverse birdlife inhabiting our forest preserves. Led by a Forest Preserve District naturalist, these walks will cover essential bird-identification skills and share fascinating stories about our feathered friends.

- Friday, Jan. 17, 2025; 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Hannaford Woods/Nickels Farm Forest Preserve; 5S002 Merril Road, Sugar Grove;
- Friday, Feb. 14, 2025; 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Fox River Bluff West Forest Preserve; 5N753 IL Route 31, St. Charles.
