Water Street Studios, 160 S. Water Street, Batavia, will be host to their Second Friday event from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, March 14. The art exhibition will feature artists Raul Rodea, Gerardo Madrigal, Juan Francisco Sepulveda, Joe Hernandez, and Pierre Lucero in the first floor Dempsey Galleries and Kane County Chronicle Magazine Galleries.
The monthly Second Friday gallery openings offer the chance to view and purchase local artwork, visit Resident Artists in their studios, explore the clay lab, visit the Community Gallery on the second floor, and learn about the School of Art class offerings.
As part of the Arts District community initiative in downtown Batavia, additional happenings will be held at neighbor businesses Hearth & Hammer and Kiss the Sky.
Water Street Studios is open to the public Friday through Sunday, noon to 4 p.m..
