Sunken Garden in Phillips Park in Aurora, great spring stop

Share this article:
Thousands of tulips were in bloom at the Sunken Garden in Phillips Park in Aurora on the beautiful spring day, Sunday, April 27. By mid-May, each year, the tulips are removed and replaced with flowering annuals for the Garden’s Summer display. The original 60 acres for the Park were donated to the City by the estate of Travis Phillips in 1899. Jason Crane/The Voice
