Batavia Uncorked, Batavia Park District’s casual outdoor wine festival will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 7 at the Peg Bond Center stage and the relaxed ambiance of The Riverwalk.
Now in its second year, the wine event will showcase eight wineries along with food and live music. Returning this year are The Pour Vineyard, PRP Wine International, Sturdy Shelter Brewing, Tasting DeVine Cellars A Division of Lynfred Winery, Trader Joe’s, Up North Tasting Room and Waterman Winery. New this year is Broken Brix Winery, Cidery & Meadery of St. Charles.
“We launched this event in 2024 to provide a casual option to sample wine,” said event organizer Lori McDonald. “It was a huge success and tickets sold out. Everyone loved the setup of a wine festival along the river with live acoustic guitar music.”
That relaxed ambience was a hit with Ali Blaine who attended last year with friends. Her group loved the riverside setting, live music, seeing friends from around town and having the opportunity to sample many different wines. “It was a great way to try ‘new to us’ wines and even find some new favorites,” she said.
Acoustic duo Liz & Hala will perform and food will be available for purchase from Fernando’s Street Kitchen and Chicago Charcuterie Corner. Attendees may bring blankets and portable chairs and tables.
New this year is a Premier ticket that offers 15 one-ounce pours and a commemorative glass for $55. General Admission tickets are $40 and include entry to the event, 10 one-ounce pours and a commemorative glass. A designated driver ticket is $10 and includes water and soda. Get your tickets at bataviaparks.org/batavia-uncorked.
Attendees and ticket purchasers must be 21 years or older and present a valid, state-issued ID.
