•Flying into Summer- Paper Airplane, Monday, June 9, 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m..
Flying into Summer with a paper airplane competition.
You will create a paper airplane by following the directions provided, then your plane will be tested for accuracy, distance, hang time, and precision. Registration is required.
•Weaving- Bookmark, Tuesday, June 10, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m..
Jodi is back! She is teaching the art of weaving. Each participant will weave their own unique bookmark. Registration is required.
•Book Club (grades 1-2), Tuesday, June 10 and 17, 4:30 p.m..
In this two-session book club, we will read an easy-read chapter book. Please register for both dates on the YPL website.

Join us at the Farmacy Farmstand, 7260 Oakbrook Road, Newark, for Story Time at 10:30 a.m.. After Story Time, Pearl will share information about bees and how important they are to the world. Weather permitting. Bees will not be present during the program.
•Panera fundraising event, Friday, June 20 all day
Stop by Panera Bread in Yorkville any time Friday, June 20, and show them one of our flyers (digital versions on your phone count) and 20% of the proceeds from your order will be donated to the Friends of the Yorkville Public Library.
•LEGO Kits, June 15-21 (you choose the day and time that is convenient)
Come by the library during open hours the week of June 15. We will provide a themed container of various LEGOs for you to use in the library. Using only the bricks provided and your creativity, make your build. Your creation will be added to the LEGO display at the library.
