Dear editor;
Progressives are fighting to protect working families and make billionaires pay their fair share. But Republicans want to crush us to protect the top 1% and their own wealth.
Bernie Sanders’ wealth tax would apply to the top 0.1% – billionaires worth over $32 million. It would raise up to $4.35 trillion over 10 years. Whereas Donald Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill would increase our deficit by $2.4 trillion with 10.9 million more uninsured by 2034. And it’s our money they’re playing with! Bernie’s wealth tax plan would help pay for Health-care, education, fighting climate change.
Don’t Let them cut Medicaid to give more money to Billionaires. Do you really think they’ll stop there? They’re already plotting to slash Medicare and Social Security, privatizing them and our post offices.
Don’t be a wimpy fool! Stand up and fight for what’s yours! It’s a no-brainer!
