“Build, Believe, Belong: A Lego Ideas Sermon Series” concludes Sunday, July 6, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 14 N. May St. in Aurora.

In the third of a three-part series, Pastor Rev. Tammy Scott will preach on “Believe: Connected in Christ.” During her sermon, worshippers are invited to build Legos creations from provided building bricks.
Worship services are held at 10:30 a.m. in the Gathering Place room at the church. The public is invited. Admission and parking are free.
The Rev. Scott explained, “Like Lego bricks, we are made to be connected—built up in faith, rooted in belief, and designed to belong. This series uses the creativity and connection of Legos to explore how God forms us into a faithful community.
“Through hands-on Lego building activities, there are messages for all ages and opportunities to engage in creative, joyful worship.
“The colorful little bricks that have sparked joy and imagination across generations, help us explore what it means to be a community of faith.
“Like Legos, we’re created to connect. We each have a purpose. And we’re strongest when we’re built together.”
She invites attendees to bring their favorite LEGO creations to share. “Let’s build something together this summer, something full of love, purpose and belonging,” Scott said.
