They’ve wagged, purred, tweeted, and trotted their way into Batavia’s history, and now they’re taking center stage!
Batavia Depot Museum, 155 Houston Street, newest temporary exhibit is “Unconditional Love: Batavia’s Best Friends.” It celebrates stories of local pets and animals who’ve left their mark on the community.
“Best Friends” will open Friday, Aug. 8 with a public reception at 6 p.m.. Viewing hours are 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission and parking are free.
This year marks the museum’s 50th anniversary, a joint venture of Batavia Historical Society and Batavia Park District.
