Pet of the Week: Pumpkin’s family passed, needs home

Pumpkin is a female Beagle mix who is 11 years old.

Pumpkin came from a high-kill shelter after her owners had passed and she was left alone. Pumpkin is house-broken and does not need a crate. She is the perfect house guest. She is overweight and still needs to lose about seven pounds. Pumpkin loves to sniff in the back yard and go for walks. When she walks on the leash she has her nose to the ground and must sniff everything. She had three mast cell tumors removed from her chest. The vet believes she is all clear and no further treatment is needed.

They are neutered, up to date on immunizations, and is microchipped.
