Dear editor;

It’s a hypocrisy that the man who is leading our Nation is a convicted criminal who wants our respect. A man who also attempted to overturn the 2020 election by promoting false public accusations that resulted in violence at the capital, then rewarded those participants with pardons. Including his attempt to promote vice-president Mike Pence to allow unqualified vote counts to be considered in the final vote tabulation, but to Pence’s insistence, he demanded that only honest vote counts will be considered. Also consider the vote counting behavior in his attempt to persuade the secretary of the state in Georgia to create 11,500 votes for him that didn’t exist?

Adding another area of inappropriate activity was his illegal retaining of top secret documents while also being carelessly secured. The many charges being made have all escaped from judicial criminal hearings through the clever delays and interruptions his legal counsel had managed as the method of blocking.

As of now, being that he is the president, it goes unsaid that he will never stand trial along with any other illegal activities. His current leadership now appears to be restructuring our government! We, as a Nation, should consider his moves with skepticism. Those current actions today clearly appear to be seeking absolute power that even the courts are in danger to being unable to control.
