Amateur golfers gathered at Springbrook Golf Course, 2220 W. 83rd Street Saturday, Oct. 11 to compete in the 2025 Fall Scramble, with food sponsored by Texas Roadhouse. This is the second-to-last golfing event of the 2025 Brooks Tournament Series, presented by Woody Buick GMC. This year’s Fall Scramble had a record number of participants with 140 golfers, or 35 competing foursomes. Throughout the tournament, the best shot from each four-person team member was selected as the recorded shot for each hole. There was a three-way tie for first place, and the winning team comprised of Jordan Hindenach (Yorkville), Matt Matekaitis (Naperville), John Wesolowski (Naperville), and Brian Dixon (Naperville) won with a score of 10 under par in a scorecard playoff.
The final event of the 2025 Brooks Tournament Series will be the Turkey Shoot Saturday, Nov. 22 at Naperbrook Golf Course and Sunday, Nov. 23 at Springbrook Golf Course.
