The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley will hold it’s January “Meet and Greet”, organized by media chairperson, Ann McBride, to expose our Club and our mission, Saturday, Jan. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Legacy Nutrition & Fitness, 77 S. River Street, in downtown Aurora. Legacy Nutrition & Fitness is more than a gym — it’s a wellness hub for the community!
Legacy Nutrition & Fitness specializes in personal and group training and offers a full service nutrition bar, with delicious protein shakes, smoothie bowls, and teas.
Plan on stopping by, meet some of our members, pickup information on diabetes, prediabetes, healthy eating, and our Club’s new booklet “Recipes for Diabetics”.

Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley work together, to provide diabetes awareness in the Fox Valley area, while raising funds to provide aid and education for diabetics, along with investing in research to find a cure.
Please save the following dates for the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley’s two annual fundraisers: Saturday, June 6: 4th Annual “Tee Off to Defeat Diabetes” Golf Outing and Banquet, at Bliss Creek Golf Course, 1 Golf View Road, in Sugar Grove.
Friday, Nov. 6: 3rd Annual “A Night To End Diabetes” Gala Dinner, at Lincoln Inn, 1345 South Batavia Avenue, in Batavia.
The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley members will also be co-sponsoring the 2nd Annual “Healthy Futures Expo”, with Legacy Nutrition & Fitness, in Aurora, later this year.
Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley wish to thank everyone who participated, and/or made a donation, to our annual fundraisers last year.
Your support allowed the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley to make $21,600 in donations to help in our fight against diabetes, through research at UChicago-Kovler Diabetes Center, treating un-insured diabetics at the VNA, assisting diabetics in obtaining and/or supporting their diabetic or therapy support animal, and other meaningful donations to aid our Fox Valley community.
The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization. A true grassroots organization, where all money raised through dues, donations and fundraising is used for the club’s fight against diabetes.
