Just in time for Valentine’s Day, award-winning poet, singer, songwriter, and visual artist Jenny Bienemann will bring a night of original folk and Americana to The Venue in Aurora.

Saturday, Feb. 7, Bienemann’s newest tiny book, “The Come Back,” will be the inspiration for a concert featuring a powerhouse lineup of more than two dozen musicians debuting brand-new songs inspired by her haiku.

“It will offer a rare glimpse into the daring risk of true artistic creation,” Bienemann said.

She added that each performer will step into the unknown to share an entirely new song, born from the inspiration of one of her haikus from “The Come Back” or her other four books.

“The result will be similar to the exhilarating experience that comes from creation and connection, where every moment, like love, is both a leap of faith and a celebration of discovery,” she said.

The night will blend courage, creativity, and community, Bienemann said.

Some well-known artists in the Fox Valley area joining Bienemann include Aaron Kelly, Downtown Charlie Brown, Demi Clara, Noah Gabriel, and Dave Ramont. Chicago area artists include Pete Jive, Naomi Ashley, and more.

“The Come Back,” is the much-anticipated follow-up to Bienemann’s acclaimed tiny book “Reckoning,” and her award-winning “Sundays with Jenny,” which celebrated its release at The Venue in 2024, and went on to earn top honors at both the International Book Awards and the New York Book Festival.

The book release concert celebration will be one-night only. Concert will start at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at themusicvenue.org.
