Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley will hold their February membership meeting Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Oak Street Restaurant, 945 Oak Street, in North Aurora.
Meeting will be held in the East Banquet Room. Dinner is optional on members’ own from the menu at 5:30 p.m. and meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.. Guests are always welcome!
The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley will hold it’s February “Meet and Greet”, organized by media chairperson, Ann McBride, to expose our Club and our mission, from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Feb. 21, at Panera Bread, 1330 N. Orchard Road, in Aurora.
Did you know? The St. Louis Bread Company was renamed Panera Bread in 1997, to better position the company for national growth. The new name, “Panera”, is derived from the Latin word for “breadbasket” and was intended to be more recognizable and appealing outside of the St. Louis region.
Plan on stopping by, meet some of our members, pickup information on diabetes, prediabetes, healthy meal planning, and our “Recipes for Diabetics” booklet, while enjoying a tasty treat, and a great cup of coffee!

Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley work together, to provide diabetes awareness in the Fox Valley area, while raising funds to provide aid and education for diabetics, along with investing in research to find a cure.
A diabetes epidemic is out of control in our country! Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley believe in group therapy, bringing people together, discussing the dangers of uncontrolled blood sugar, and distributing healthy information that’s beneficial to everyone, even if you’re not diabetic!
Uncontrolled blood sugar (glucose) can cause vision problems, heart problems, nerve damage, dental problems, kidney damage and more. Eat healthy, stay active and have a yearly blood test, to stay diabetes free!
The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization. A true grassroots organization, where all money raised through dues, donations and fundraising is used for the club’s fight against diabetes.
