New England Congregational Church, 406 W. Galena Blvd. in Aurora, will return an annual Chocolate Festival Sunday, Feb. 15.
Rev. Brandon Perrine, NECC senior minister, said the public is invited to sample chocolate treats in Fellowship Hall after the 10 a.m. worship service.
In addition to chocolate fountains, homemade cookies, candy, brownies and cake will be featured.
Special music during the worship service will be presented by the John Papadolias Trio with special guests Paul Laprade and Heather Azem.
According to Pastor Perrine, “The fest marks Fat Tuesday, the last Sunday before Lent, a 40-day season of fasting and reflection leading up to Easter.
