Pizza, prizes and raffles highlighted Aurora Lions Club’s second annual bowling fundraiser Sunday afternoon, March 1.
“Rolling for a Cause” was held at Parkside Lanes in Aurora. In addition to three games of bowling, features were a pizza buffet, six raffle gift baskets and two door-prize gift baskets.

Sixty-four bowlers were accompanied by friends and family members. Proceeds to benefit Lions vision- and hearing-impaired charities will be announced.
Event organizer Dick Schindel said, “Aurora Lions Club serves children’s needs by providing free youth vision exams monthly at Santori Aurora Public Library and works with school nurses to supply eyeglasses for needy students.”
