The Aurora and Fox Valley community are invited to the all-you-can-eat Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast from 7 a.m. (new start time) to noon Saturday, March 14, Aurora Central Catholic High School, 1255 N. Edgelawn Dr. (corner Edgelawn & Indian Trail), Aurora.
Kiwanis Club of Aurora Pancake chairman Nick Knudtson noted, “I’m so excited and happy for the family fun we’re creating with our new outdoor touch and feel truck/car exhibition and indoors with face-painting and magic, and of course pancakes.”
This year will features new attractions, drive-thru pancake pickup, touch and feel truck/car exhibition (fire, police, bookmobile, and more), face-painting, and magician. Also returning are 50/50 and basket raffles.
The Kiwanis Club of Aurora in its 110th year will present its 75th annual breakfast event to fund their work with children and the community.
Annually, the Aurora, Illinois Kiwanis Foundation donates some $47,000, primarily to Aurora’s youth. These donations occur through the awarding of Kiwanis scholarships; subsidies to scouting and baseball teams; help to area youth programs; and the sponsorship of clubs at the elementary, high school, and college levels.
